About VNSF

The Veterans for National Security Foundation (VNSF) is dedicated to distinguished military veterans who seek to continue a lifetime of service to the nation. In nonpartisan fashion, VNSF supports veterans of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines who currently serve in elected government positions at both the federal and state levels. Additionally, our organization further supports those deserving veterans who run for the U.S. House, U.S. Senate or the Presidency of the United States.

VNSF provides campaign strategy and counsel to those officeholders or candidates who successfully pass through the VNSF vetting process.

VNSF PAC support will be available during the 2006 election cycle to military veterans who have served their nation with honor and distinction in uniform and now seek election to federal office. Each veteran must also have demonstrated continued service to the United States in a civilian capacity in either the government or private sector.

Military veterans serving in the active and reserve components of the United States Armed Forces powerfully demonstrate their concern for national defense and national security on a daily basis, while holding true to their path of providing a lifetime of selfless service to our nation. While more than 70% of the members of Congress were military veterans in the mid-1970’s, veterans represent less than 30% of today’s Congressmen, Congresswomen and Senators. These same members cast votes and make decisions each day that affect the lives of our servicemen and women, their families and the security of our citizens.

It is therefore imperative to increase the number of military veterans within the congressional ranks to ensure that the health, welfare, safety and combat readiness of our soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and coast guard remain paramount in the eyes of our elected leadership. It is equally important that we provide assistance to comrades-in-arms in their desire to once again answer the call to duty by serving in public office. As such, VNSF holds as its mission unwavering support to those we deem “fit for duty” in our nation’s elected offices.

Our organization and veteran candidates need your assistance to accomplish our goals. If you would like to support our efforts through providing a contribution, please visit our

Thank you for supporting our military veterans who desire to serve their community and country in elected office. Your shared dedication to our cause, deeply appreciated financial contributions and willingness to support these men and women will make our nation and its leadership stronger for generations to come.
